Hi!
In today's post I'm going to talk about my favorite activity in my life. I
have always been a restless girl, and I love to move!! I remember when I was seven or eight years old, a ballet teacher arrived to my school and I began to
take dancing classes.
In the first moment I didn't like the ballet
classes, because I thought that it was boring… then I preferred dancing other styles like flamenco, Arabic dance, or contemporary dance.
When I was
growing up, I realized about the importance that the technical classes (academic ballet
class) had for my development as a dancer, but I think that it was late when I realized.
In secondary school I began to take academic ballet classes and spent most of the time dancing. This was the perfect time for me. Also, I remember that even instead of studying for the PSU, I prefer red to dance and create choreographies and compete. The most important competition that I participated with my academy “Ballet de Cámara Grandjeand”, it was the “Latino Americano de Danza” in the “Cúpula del Parque O’Higgins”, in this opportunity I won an award for my interpretation in a “solo” and the third place with a group choreography.
Currently, I retook the dance classes I had abandoned after entering the university and has been the best thing that has ever happened to me in recent times!! and I would recommend everybody to never stop doing what you really love!!!
Good Luck!!!
Also, I share a picture of my last presentation of the day of the dance last year.
